Devorah van Zwaren
Jerusalem Coordinator | Devora (Pearlson) van Zwaren was born on a farm in Alabama, New York, near Buffalo. At the age of seven she moved with her family to Miami Beach, Florida, where her family owned and managed hotels.
She began her working life shining shoes on Lincoln Road, and was arrested at age 7 for working on Sunday. She attended Hebrew Academy, and made aliya at the age of 16. She's still finding it hard to admit to being here 30 years.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Bar Ilan and her Masters in Sociology at Hebrew University, plus a diploma in mediation, she immediately set to work on educating her 25 nieces and nephews. Pearl Skolnik, her older sister, decided she might be better suited to real estate and she has been using her "people skills," as she likes to call them, to help people find the homes that are really suited to them.
She is married to Yossi, a physicist in the Ministry of Science, Culture and Sport. She has been living and working many years as an agent in Jerusalem (with an interlude of several years in Tekoa), and will be happy to assist you in finding just the right home there.
