Lisa Bechhofer
Realtor | Lisa Bechhofer grew up in London in a very Zionist family, visiting family and friends in Israel often. Her father, a London accountant, eventually branched out into real estate development, inviting Lisa to spend summers working in his company, giving her a first taste of real estate.
After high school, Lisa spent a year in Israel on a learning/work program and, after returning to England for a degree in Applied Biology at Manchester University, decided to move to Israel for good. |
She started off at the Shalhevet program of Neve Yerushalayim and became a senior counselor in that institution, after which she was invited to work for another major outreach organization in Jerusalem. Working within the fundraising department, she was promoted to the position of Head of International Missions, being responsible for designing all aspects of tour schedules, staffing and budgeting.
During this time, she met her husband and, aside from raising their young children, started her own home-based business. Then, when her husband founded a yeshiva, she assisted him with public relations, administration and fundraising for the next six years.
Lisa returned to the real estate business out of her frustrations dealing with the Israeli real estate system and decided that she would like to apply her experience to protect the interests of her clients. She spent the first few months with Pearl Skolnik Realty as Office Manager becoming completely familiar with the market in Ramat Beit Shemesh before becoming a full agent and services clients in English, Hebrew, French and Russian.
They now have six children, her husband is a maggid shiur in a yeshiva in Jerusalem and they have been living in Ramat Beit Shemesh for almost three years.
