routes map of Ramat Beit Shemesh.
Ramat Beit Shemesh is a growing, vibrant
community, where many English-speaking immigrants have made their homes. In RBS, as it is fondly
known, the practical meets the aesthetic in beautiful, well-built homes,
sweeping expanses of greenery and parks galore. The buildings are built no
higher than 5 floors, the majority of which have red-tiled roofs. All buildings are
covered with attractive Jerusalem stone. The streets in RBS are wide,
tree-lined and kept clean.

RBS is self-sufficient, with supermarkets, clinics, dry-cleaners, a fish
store, bakeries, book stores, stationery stores, photo processing, money
changers, a music store, a curtain store, clothing stores, and more! You almost
never need to leave, but if you do.........RBS has a regular bus
line to Jerusalem. Check out bus lines 417 and 418 on the
Egged website. In addition, a regular
train line runs directly from Beit Shemesh to Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and other key
locations, making commuting easy. You can find out more about
the train schedules and fares
